As my generation gets older and we still want to participate, we have been delegated to the log splitter operator. So today as I was looking around the barn I saw the old seat off of the 750 sitting on the bench. Well if I'm going to be demoted to operator, I might as well be comfortable. My brother in-law asked "where is the cup holder." So I guess I'll need to add one. We should have a crew of eight this year. Always a good time.

It's just for show. I have it on my 66-110RF. No mower deck. The little nephews drive it around the yard.

Trebor, is that yellow tractor with loader a 420? I have seen it in your pics but have not heard you say what it is. Be safe on your wood cutting weekend, the month of April is my favorite for working in the woods.

Trebor and the good news is that the IRS tax filing deadline has been extended an extra month this year as the IRS is so far behind, they don't want an avalanche of returns in April. Now, no one can use the excuse of having to rush home to file their taxes as a reason to cut out early. Is your camp in N. Michigan? If so, what area.?

Well we had a very successful wood cutting and splitting weekend. We had 7 guys from deer camp show up Friday night ready to go on Saturday. Mike on the splitting controls, Drew, Ernie and James handling the logs, Mike, Fritz and me transporting and stacking. We started at 8am and split and stacked 9 face cords by 3:30 with a half hour lunch. Not a piece of wood touched the ground. The hydraulic lifting arm pick up the logs and set them on the splitter, after being split they were loaded on the Scout and the JD 80 trailer being pulled by a JD 140-H3. It turned out to be so efficient that were had plenty of time to sit back and enjoy a few cold beers.
