Getting shine back in black plastic

I can’t find the post that I saved where someone had a product to but the shine back in the black plastic. Want to do a clean up/ detail on my X758 before I put the cab on it for winter. I have a product that works well but trying to find something less grease for doing the foot pads.

I use 303 on everything plastic. Not greasy at all and is actually a UV protectant so it really helps with any sun fade on black plasitcs.

Looks expensive but a little goes a long way. A 32oz bottle last me for years.

All great suggestions I kind of feel like I need to try them all. I think I’m going to give the 303 a try. The products RedDirt and Herminator suggested I would like to give them a try on some more faded black plastic pieces.
That’s probably a good plan as those are labelled as restorers where I consider 303 more of a maintenance or protectant product.

Feel free to delete this if it's too off-topic or hijacking.... but I'm really curious.

How strongly do folks feel about the need to keep it looking sharp?

Within a week of owning my latest tractor the hood was scratched to heck, the black plastic dirty and scuffed, and now I'm feeling like some sort of heretic or something. I never thought to do more than clean the mud off.
To be clear, I don’t use my favorite 303 on my tractor - just on my truck and Gator. The tractor just gets a good pressure washing a couple times a year before maintenance time.
I bought it for one thing to USE.. To Polish keep to keep it clean,, ah no not going to happen. I try not to abuse, my equipment , change the oils , and grease according to the user manual.
I agree. I spend much more time doing maintenance than any polishing. However I do feel that basic cleaning is a part of a maintenance routine.

I used to spend a lot of time polishing my truck by hand. I gave up on that partially because my body joints can’t take it anymore and partially because you just can’t keep a vehicle clean with the roads around here. If the road is wet my truck gets dirty.
