After a couple years of our goats beating up our old fence, we decided to re-do their pen and make some upgrades. We set 4" treated posts (with T-posts in between), replaced the beat up sections, and ran three lines of electric fence. Having a proper gate will be nice! Just have to wire up the solar electric fencer.

On a side note: next time I'm renting a Dingo (Toro) with the auger attachment, or a 3-pt digger. Also, I'm never putting a fence that close to a tree line ever again...

Looks great, what breed goats do you have?

We have a couple of paddocks for our Nigerian dwarf goats.

The lighter one is an Alpine mix and the darker one is a Kiko Nubian mix.

Look at your herd! Funny little buggers. Nice set up you have there!
