Are you saying you don't like watching guys in sequined tights prancing on ice doing sow cows, triple axholes and double toe loops? Could have knocked me over with a feather!

Good Afternoon GTT!

Back from town. Mrs. C had a follow up appointment with the surgeon. He’s real happy - come back in 6 weeks. Also discharged the wound clinic and visiting nurse. Maybe...just maybe...it’s beginning to heal properly.....

I had my blood work done while she was there - then went to pick up our new eye glasses. First new ones for both of us in 10 years. Mrs. C also got her hair cut while there. She must be feeling better as she hasn’t wanted to bother with anything for a very long time.

It’s cold out but I let the fire go out. It just gets too hot upstairs for me to sleep when it’s running. Will save the firewood for below zero night and emergencies.

I guess I’ll join in and say good morning. 32* this morning with a high approaching 60*. Going to a funeral this morning for a former co-worker who recently retired. Was involved in a car accident. He just turned 65, so you just never know. It’ll be nice to see some other former co-workers there, but would like to catch up under better circumstances. Its supposed to be clear and sunny this afternoon so I’m feeling like some seat time is in my future. The field needs more cultivating.

So very sorry to hear the loss of former co-worker.. Prayers for you and his family.

Marlin,, good job

Stan,, Good news for your wife.. (y)

Found out yesterday the son and brother of a former co-worker and his son also a former co worker . He was only 59 years old .

Later
Good day

I heard he is a socialists!
There's no way my man Gizmo is a Socialist, slacker maybe, IDK. Truth be known, I'm a "Max Slacker"(but I don't even have jungle cat moves !) a rare breed for sure. :D I could out-slack Gizmo in a battle on the WFS(World Federation of Slackers) event any day of the year.

Stan,

Hopefully this means she is finally on the fast tract to healing. Keeping fingers crossed and praying that things continue to get better.

Good morning,
57° and raining. Heading to ~60°.
I got the last bit of coffee before Mrs.FW left for work. She made glazed cinnamon rolls for Jane, and I got a few of those also. (y) I'm ready for the day.
Gotta got to the bank this morning for some cash-money, for my drive to Atlanta and back. Looks like sunny weather for Friday and Saturday.

Have a great Thursday.

Later.
Man, I salchowed the hell out of myself that day, Diane would have probably been appalled, nailed the landing perfectly flat on my back, none of that sissy
landing on your feet like them figure skaters. :ROFLMAO:.

1.64" of rain so far, should have taken a shot at mowing yesterday, really going to jungle up now.

Temps dropped to 50° and there's a slight break in the clouds. Not saying it ain't gonna rain anymore, just saying.

Went to the bank earlier, then stopped at Sonic for a corn-dog, a twisted pretzel and drowned all that with a large diet coke. If that don't make a

On the way home, I stopped at the CPA's office and picked up my tax work. I paid her and that's all done 'till next year. (y)

Came home, packed some clothing and an extra mag for my side-arm for the road-trip to the Atlanta area. I'll be leaving before daylight tomorrow.

Kilo and Zelda came up to greet me and they were both shivering. Guess I'll go set fire to a few chunks of wood in the fireplace to warm them up a bit.

Have a good afternoon.

Later.

BTW, I saw this today.

Now I'm not usually defending Gizmo, but he can do nothing for a long long time. While I wouldn't pay to watch, I'd put a nickle on Gizmo in that battle. I'd bet more but the last year or so he's picked up the pace a bit from when he first retired. Maybe because he was half maintaining a second property?

I'm no Vegas odds maker. I'm just pretty observant sittin here watching while I work on this dent in the couch.

Good evening everyone.

Got the last of the debris hauled off of the south pond bank and piled up at a grapple accessible spot.

Made it home from the gun club auction with $30 more than I left with and a Weaver K-4 scope and an Uncle Henry fixed blade knife.

Figured since we are supposed to get down to 16 tonight I would enjoy a fire for a bit before turning in.

Flyweight - safe travels on your way to Atlanta. Looking forward to finding out what you're coming back with.

Here in Oregon, any firearm sale, private or as a dealer has to be processed through a licensed firearm dealer for criminal background check with the a State Police. As a licensed Concealed Weapon Permit holder, I can get approval almost immediately, but those who are not CDL, it can take a day or two. But any purchase that is not a firearm, can be completed on the spot.
