Got me a 3pt roller pump sprayer for my 2038r

I've been wanting a sprayer since last year due to wife and I having to wear backpack spayers and pumping by hand to spray our front and back yard which is about 1/2 acre due to ticks. We had shoulder pain for weeks. Not anymore!

It'll be even nicer to apply other chemicals to the rest of the 6 acres on the side of the house.

I got this Workhorse 60gallon 3pt sprayer with a 12ft boom that has a pto powered roller pump to put down some serious bug killing spray this year.

Assembly was easy. Product seems very nice. I like the way the tank does not have fasteners through the tank that will cause a leak if tightened too tight like another brand that I looked into.

Filled it with water and had to play with it for awhile.

I really like that one. After my pregnant wife pulled off nearly 20 ticks in one day, I went out and purchased the Fimco 40 gallon electric. It sprays VERY slowly when you are talking about bug killing though, so I like yours here. How much was it, if you don't mind me asking?

Also, any favorite stuff for killing ticks. Bonus if it also kills mosquitos, but honestly the ticks are a real concern for us here in Virginia.

This sprays A LOT of liquid quick. It was around $1400 from TSC which is quite a bit. The 12v electric pump version is around $700. I knew the roller pump would be more durable after replacing so many 12v pumps in campers over the years.

We used this stuff last year and it killed ticks instantly attacking their nervous system. We didn't find a tick all summer after we treated the lawn. Its sold at TSC as well, nothing fancy but it worked!

Looks like a nice unit and I can see from the photos that it puts out some serious volume.

I appreciate the info. I have always used Ortho Home Defense for the foundation of my house, and that was great. But it doesn't seem to control the ticks nearly as much as I'd like. I'll give this one a shot. TSC was actually sold out of it, so I got the Ortho again.
