Grapple question

What is a good width for a grapple to be used on a 3032E? I’ve looked at several and watched several videos but haven’t found a good comparison between widths.

48" or 55" would be a good match, no heavier than about 250 pounds.

55 inch is perfect
Are you guys recommending that size to K9 based on the frame size or the horsepower of the 3032?
I have a 60" on order with my 3046. Should I consider switching to the 53"?

The "E" machines have slight less lift capacity than the R's do, hence my recomandaion. I think 55" is good for your sized machine, but weight is a bigger consideration.

I would say that 55” is a perfect width for the grapple.

If the primary purpose is bush, you can go a bit wider which will be a bit heavier as well. When it comes to moving heavier stuff like logs, you'll just have to reduce the size of the load a bit.

If the primary use will be logs, the lower the weight of the grapple will increase your productivity.

Think of it like bucket capacity. If you move a lot of loose debris a larger bucket works. The few times you need to move gravel, you just have to take smaller loads.

Strong grapples that are lighter in weight require a bit move engineering and higher grades of steel so expect to see that reflected in the price.

I have a 50" CTA grapple and had it on my 1025 and now on my 2038> I would highly recommend it.
