I made a big batch of Green Chile Stew (recipe in cook book) for the Elk's Lodge grand Cinco De Mayo Mexican food pig out last night and it got rave reviews! I was very pleased; even complimented by our resident expert on Mexican cuisine, Speedy Gonzales. I always liked it, and thought it was good, but had never fixed it for anyone else except me and Sharn Jean; she always just ate it with little or no comment. Now I know it's as good as I thought.

Sorry, had to brag a bit; chest is still puffed out!
