Anything is possible, but would cost money, time, and a design to get the hydraulic pump pumping.
You can get hydraulics on the older 3X5 series from the 90s, i.e. 325, 335, 345, 355D and the GX3x5 series from the early 2000s. The older 200 series, i.e. 210, 212, 214, 216, etc. a hydraulic kit was offered as a dealer installed option. All of the older 300 series dating back to the 120/140 through the 316, 318, 322, 330, and 332 had hydraulics.
If you wanting hydraulics I would sell your GT275 and look for one of the above units, or an older 400, 420, 430, 425, 445 or 455 tractor. Be aware some of these will cost more than you can get for your GT.
Why not get a dump trailer with an electric dump ram that you can wire to your tractor battery?
Most dump trailers can be dumped manually quite easy.
When I bought my Ranger, the dealer talked me out of the electric dump option because I can manually dump it easily.
Just consider your axle placement and pivot point when you desgn your trailer and with load distribution, it should dump fairly easy unless it is a one ton!
Good luck, and post some pics of the build in progress!
so i drug an ol gt275 out of the scrap yard the other day and i have some extra pumps ive pulled off combines i have scrapped over the years, and i am putting the pump on, tying it to the pulley with the electric clutch, then running that to a hydraulic motor to drive a front mount 40" sickle bar mower and a small cylinder to be able to raise it and lower it....i call it my mad max mower
I just purchased a 2003 X475 that smokes pretty bad, I am getting ready to rebuild the engine and was wondering where the best place to purchase parts is? I rebuilt a 425 a couple years ago and I was able to find several places that had parts, I'm not having such luck on this...
Hi, last year I somehow lost the black plastic leveling gauge for my x380. The base is about the size of a half dollar and ~2 inches tall and you place it under the deck in several places for leveling. I cannot find one on-line. Does anyone know the height? I'll make one, or if you have the...
Hello Everyone, I have a 1995 JD F911 that works great. It has a 60 in deck, vacuum system with three bag, bagger system and also has a sweepster broom. Only 1580 hrs. Also has a heated cab with fan and wiper. Wondering your thoughts on its value?
I'm in the process of getting my L130 JD ready for spring and summer work so my grandson can help me with yard work. I want to replace the bad bearings in the mower deck spindles, but have run into a question. The JD parts catalog shows two different part numbers for the bearings. Upper bearing...
I am thinking of adding a 3pt and i-match to my X758.
Not really planned for heavy work, mainly just would like something small and handy to snatch up and move cat 1 implements around my ever crowded machine shed. I would like to put a hydraulic top link on it to aid in quick hook ups.
