Would it be possible to add hydraulics to my gt275? ...also what was the smallest tractor that JD offered hydraulics on? Thanks!

Anything is possible, but would cost money, time, and a design to get the hydraulic pump pumping.

You can get hydraulics on the older 3X5 series from the 90s, i.e. 325, 335, 345, 355D and the GX3x5 series from the early 2000s. The older 200 series, i.e. 210, 212, 214, 216, etc. a hydraulic kit was offered as a dealer installed option. All of the older 300 series dating back to the 120/140 through the 316, 318, 322, 330, and 332 had hydraulics.

If you wanting hydraulics I would sell your GT275 and look for one of the above units, or an older 400, 420, 430, 425, 445 or 455 tractor. Be aware some of these will cost more than you can get for your GT.

I really appreciate the response! I remember when I bought the 275,my dealer tried to talk me into going up to the next level for hydraulic capability...I wished I had of listened.

Just out of curiosity, why do you want hydraulics?

Maybe this would be an option if you're wanting rear attachments: Electric Rear Lift Kit

For front attachments, maybe something from Superior Scoop: Power Lift Kit

Why not get a dump trailer with an electric dump ram that you can wire to your tractor battery?
Most dump trailers can be dumped manually quite easy.
When I bought my Ranger, the dealer talked me out of the electric dump option because I can manually dump it easily.

Just consider your axle placement and pivot point when you desgn your trailer and with load distribution, it should dump fairly easy unless it is a one ton!
Good luck, and post some pics of the build in progress!
