I bought it used and the belt was not on it and after installing the first one it came off then I don't think I installed it right and it got chewed up. Just replaced it again and it came off again.

I'd check to make sure that all the pulleys it has to go around are all the same height. Seen many times where a pulley was a bit to high compared to the others and the belt wouldn't track right around that pulley and come off. Also make sure the belt is routed correctly.

Make sure all pulleys and tensioners are loose and not binding up. Be sure to use JD belts when you verify that all pulleys, tensioners, idlers, and springs are working correctly.
