Hi, I have tried earlier, but I was a little to greedy in the first round. I will try again with smaller bites. c",)

When I trying to configure a small compact tractor for my needs I see that I’m depending on a Front Quik-Tatch hitch for the front mounted Snow Blower and Rotary Broom. At the same time I would prefer to have the benefits of a Front Loader. The question then is: can I have a Front Quik-Tatch hitch installed at the same time as attaching a H120 on a 1026R?

Probably not...at least the 2x20 series was that way. But removing the from QH is probably just pulling two pins and it will come right off anyway. It also reduces ground clearance also so you want it out of the way when doing FEL work.

Hey Mr K,

I am just wondering, do you really think you will need the FEL with the blower and brush? I myself have never found a need for the FEL with these attachments. Maybe a back blade or box blade but not the FEL.

Hi Randy, I agree that it’s not necessary to have the FEL for snow cleaning when I aiming for the Snow Blower and Rotary Broom, but the FEL was more for the summer season together with the Backhoe. But a Rare Blade would be a good idea…

Normally are the big tractors that are doing the snow cleaning in Norway equipped with the FEL in front and a forward pointed snow blower on the three point hitch as seen in the picture below.

This is actually a very effective way of cleaning snow in tight spaces, but I’m afraid that the small tractors like the 1026R are too light and too weak to be effective even with a V blower fit for the PTO output power on the 1026R.

I probably manage better with a front mounted Snow blower and a rare blade...

AAhhhh, I see my confusion now. I was thinking a front mount blower and brush and not a foward facing 3pt mount.

Snowblower

How much did you have to rework your old fronthitch to get on your 1026r? I'm looking to find what needs to be modified to put it on.

My 1026 finially came yesterday after waiting for it since January.
