Looks Like an Arctic Cat/Textron Prowler Pro XT. Uses the same engine the JD 825i and Kawasaki Mule Pro series uses. They claim very quiet.

I have seen them at Cabelas. I wouldn’t buy one. Arctic cat went bankrupt, textron bought them, tried to sell the utvs and atvs under the textron name. Didn’t help sales. They have now gone back to the artic cat name. Cabelas sold tractors for a short time. I don’t expect the atv / utv sales to go much better for them.

If you looking at utvs or atvs go look at Honda . I have a Honda on my wish list. Cant a afford one right now. I’m probably going to get a Talon for trail riding. But the Pioneer would probably be a better all around machine.

I heard Textron redesigned the Arctic Cat Prowler. Changed to the same Chinese engine JD and Kawasaki are using. I heard it was due to lack of name recognition, the went from Textron name back to Arctic Cat and then the deal with Bass Pro/Cabelas.

Tractors are a different story, not who I would buy a tractor from.

The only bad thing I heard about the Honda Pioneer is the transmission shares the engine oil and when it gets dirty, or is not changed when it should be, you have transmission problems. That does not seem like a good idea to me.

I have had my Kawasaki Mule for 23 years. I am looking to upgrade, better suspension (it was best in class when I bought it) and power steering. Kawasaki Mule Pro is probably what I'll buy (as soon as I convince the CFO to release the funds).

The Tracker/Textron/Arctic Cat looks like a contender to the Mule Pro, so I asked for opinions. Thanks for your comments.

I really need to go to some dealers and look/compare.
