Congrats ,,don't have the 1023 but a 1026 and it is sweet.. Good friend bought a 1023 and his mother loves to mow the lawn.. So don't leave your wife use or you may never enjoy the love again. !!!

Welcome to the forum!! I too have the 1023E and love it. My only issue is that darn FEL, I wish they would hurry up with a fix.

My wife loved the LX280, liked the X724, and now she's scared of the 1026R. But she does drive it sometimes after I encourage her. She got a kick out of dumping a load of debris into the back of a pick-up with the FEL. "Wow, that's so EASY!" :laugh:
