Check out my latest project.

i picked up a 8 bale haymaster accumulator and a haytech grapple.

I need to replace a couple springs on the accumulator. Figure out a mount for my baler.

Cut off that mount on the grapple and old the new plate on there. Going to add another set of pins so I can use it on both my 542 and 400X loader.

I need to get my square baler working also. Looks like a winter project.

OK - Here is my project. I need to cut off all this welded on stuff so I can bolt on the plate for my 542 loader.

I figure I will attack it with the plasma cutter first and go from there. Not sure how clean I can or need to make it. As long as it is clean on the bolt face side - I am good to go.

OK the plasma cutter was slow going - I think I need to swap out the tip. So broke out the torch. Was essentially out of oxygen, but I powered on.

I got 3 of the 4 tabs cleaned up last night. They welded on reenforcing plates onto the square tubes. I am going to leave those - I am sure I will screw it up if I don't . I might have to cut up the old counts and use them as shims so I can get it the right height across the back of the plate.

Pictures to follow.

That looks real slick.. have you tried it out on any bales yet? how back end light do you think it would make a 2009 4520? :thumbup1gif: Its either one of those or a old school bale picker that ya pull behind a tractor for me..
I have had ZERO time. New job is keeping me really busy. I still need to get my hay baler working. Oh well - I will get it done sometime. It might turn into a winter project again. It is going to be time to bale hay.

I set it up to work on my 5525. I have the pins to weld on to put it on my 4520. I suspect it would be fine on the 4520 cab with some weight on the back.
