Hi,

We just purchased our first "real" tractor last week, a new 3039R. We just moved to our new home which has 5 acres and lots of trees. Our last house came with a X320 mower which I traded in on this new tractor.

The tractor and the attachments are due to be delivered next Friday and we have a lot planned for this.

We purchased the following attachments so far:

320R Loader
MX-5 Rotary Cutter
PHD200 Post Hole Digger
AP12F Forklift blades

Also purchased a Big Tool Rack for the back to make life a little easier when needing the tools.

Planning on getting a log splitter and a grappler. Leaning towards the Everything Attachments Wicked Root Grapple V2.0 60" As for log splitter, thinking about the Swisher brand. Trying to stick with built / made in US stuff.

At any rate, will have some pictures to post when everything actually arrives.

Thank you,

Jon

Welcome from SW Ohio! You've got a great setup coming!

Some people might say that a 3039R is a lot of tractor for only 5 acres, but I have a similar sized tractor (3520) on 4.88 acres and I think it's a nice fit. You're going to be super happy with the setup and you're going to have a lot of fun!

I don't know how much YouTube you watch, but "Stoney Ridge Farmer" just did a tour of Swisher's plant in Missouri. Here's a link for you. You might also want to check out Wolf Ridge splitters. Also US made with a great reputation.

Don't be stranger here! Post lots of pictures.

Thank you everyone!

The tractor arrived near the end of day, so no pictures, it was raining/hailing, generally miserable. The X320 lawnmower left as that was our trade-in. I will take some pictures tomorrow. Weather is supposed to start getting better here in the PNW, so that means some seat time and learning how the tractor will work for us.

Still contemplating other attachments, but it will be a month or three till those happen.
