Welcome from SW Pennsylvania!

Make sure you get some kind of rear ballast before doing any heavy FEL work! The rear blade or box blade may add a little weight to the back but an actual rear ballast is still much much more effective. It's an entirely different machine with weight on the rear, and somewhat dangerous without it! If you don't want to put the money into a ballast box, you can always make your own counterweight. There are a lot of solid threads here about making a counterweight or you could ask for help. I made mine with concrete and a drawbar, a little all thread and some rebar, total cost was about $60 and a little manual labor to mix the concrete...

Also, congrats and I love that you posted a pic of it all new and shiny, now get that plastic off the seat and get it dirty! haha

Not yet. I will be adding a box blade or rear blade soon. Still trying to decide which I want to have.
Keep in mind that Deere recommends a minimum of 580 lbs on the rear hitch.
