Had a 5 foot piece of 2x2 square tubing laying around and decided to cobble together a tool bar for a 6 tine cultivator. Bought 6 Danish tines, attaching brackets and 7 inch sweeps.

All bolt on, NO welding req'd. Drilled one 5/8" hole thru the 2x2 tubing, that's it. The rest just bolted together.

Couple licks of yellow paint from a rattle can.

Covers the tire tracks of the 1025R. Works like a charm.

You don't always have to buy it prefabed from the corporate stealerships.

Pat, I have to tell you, that your homemade cultivator/hiller was the inspiration I needed to put this one together. Thanks.
Thank you, it is kind of rewarding using something that you made. :thumbup1gif:

Sorry I have no video of this cultivator in action, but it does work like it should, chopping the weeds off just under the surface of the soil. The key with sweeps is to go shallow, not bury them like a chisel plow.
That said, there are lots of videos on You Tube of cultivator sweeps in action to give you an example.

** Guess I'll have to follow PJR832's lead and start making You Tube vids. **
