Why are you selling it? Did you get a new whole house generator that runs on LP/NG?
That's the eventual goal.
I bought this when we built the shop. Had no power for the first few years, so this got me by when I needed it.
Just don't need it any longer, and it doesn't make sense to take up space and the need to run it monthly.
That said, I don't have any desire to "give it away", and whether I'm right or wrong I feel under $2,000 would be giving it away.

Now was that so hard in putting what you want for it and the back story, Dr Maphesto? I'm sure it will draw more respectable offers now. Hey it even has me thinking about it right now. Only because it has 2X the power output of my current generator, but it has electric start! Talk about a BACK saver!

I had that same generator. Bought it ~ 20 years ago and let it go as part of the purchase & sale of a previous home. Very nice generator and the largest capacity offered by Honda at that time. It sure came in handy on occasion and easily ran the entire property.

Funny story, once during a power failure a neighbor stopped by and asked me if I was trying to rub it in. At the time I had landscape lighting on a timer and of course it happened to be on when most of the rest of the neighborhood was in total darkness.
