The 2520 hydraulics also run at 2400 PSI instead of 2000 with about twice the GPM.

Anyhow, given the crappy weather and the fact that my first grandchild is now 2 days overdue
nunu I find myself with some time on my hands. Looking at all of these posts from the new 1026r owners got me curious so I checked the Deere site to read up on them. They look like a great unit which is what we are reading here. As I was reading the specs I saw that they are rated at 25.2 HP which is pretty much the same as my 2520 at 26.4. Where they appear to differ is in the torque and operating rpm. The 2520 has about 28% more at about 600 rpms less. Not being a mechanic, I find that a bit strange. I would have thought that Deere would have used the same motor.
Oh well, did I mention that I had too much time on hands.
