Taking Randy's suggestion and started a thread on this.
In the glowplug thread,I noticed my tractor serial # had the same numbers (40) after the letter H as Randy's. His is a 2008,and I thought mine was a 2009. I started to question the year when I saw this page in the loader operators manual. This is stating an even earlier model than 2008.:unknown:The fact that my 2520 definitely has a 40 amp alternator, which makes it no earlier than 2008,but going by what the manual states for cap color it is. Maybe JD wasn't all that critical with what color caps they used. If so,this is yet another example of how outdated and confusing their manuals are.
Does anyone have any insight on this?
