I have a 420 T in good shape, but the control panel needs work and new gauges.

Does anyone know what a fair asking price of the tractor would be?

ccaston,
Welcome to GTT.

There a many variables in saying what a "Fair" price on a tractor that old.

Condition
Operation of major components
Sheet metal
Wheels
Tires
Electrical

etc..............

Does it start and run well?
Does the hydraulics work?
What is the overall condition of the tractor?

Can you photos of it here? This will certainly help us, help you.

A local tractor guy said that it was in good condition, but he didn't guess a price. Tires are good and brakes are good. I had not had a chance to fully check the hydraulics yet. As mentioned the front panel needs work and gauges. Runs good. Recently tuned up and oil change. Currently repairing the carburetor. Paint not bad but touch up would help. I currently don't have a picture. I'll have one next week.

Well, I've settled on a sale price for the 420. I needed to move it quickly. Thanks, to those who responded.
