I use the John Deere Hy-Gard oil, when compared to other name brand oils the price is competetive. Sure, there are cheaper oils from Wal-Mart and TSC, what are you really saving in the long run if they do not perform well?
Hydraulic oil ?
In the process of rebuilding on of my lift cylinders on my 5300 tractor with a 520 loader. Probably going to need a little hydraulic oil to top it off. Also will be changing the hydraulic oil later this winter. Is hydraulic oil hydraulic oil? Or is there a certain brand or type I should be using.
