I have two small issues with my X495 (650ish hours). I suspect both are just adjustments.

First, the parking brake doesn't hold as well as it should. It holds well if I keep it fully depressed with my foot but if it springs back against the latch/stop then the tractor will roll if it's on a hill.

Second, and possibly related, if I release the "forward" pedal and just roll to a stop it tends to keep creeping forward. It does not do this going in reverse. Is there some sort of balancing to be done between the FWD and REV pedals? If so, how do I do that?

Thanks.

Check the linkage going back to the tranny and be sure that it's clean and no grass and dirt buildup preventing it from going to neutral.

Roll forward is often slop in the pedal linkages on the primary front to rear.

That said, my x475 was doing similar. After a good hose off it’s gone. I bought it late last fall, so it didn’t get a full once over before working in snow duty. I spent extra time hosing off everything this spring before mounting the mower.
