I was mowing and hit a big stick and now only my right side blade is cutting. I did some googling and found out I probably broke a timing belt. I didnt remove the cover completely(just two screws so I could look) and sure enough the belt under the cover was broke. I would greatly appreciate if someone could possibly link me to a tutorial on replacing this and the best place to get the belt. I am assuming I will have to remove the deck, I have never done this on this mower so I could use some help. I tried driving this back in my garage after I took that broken belt off and it wouldnt move, I dont see how a belt that was broke being removed would cause this

Truthfully, this is one case of having the dealer install the new timing belt. They can be a handful and one screw up yur buying another belt.

Local JD dealer says 300 for the labor, hell no. I called another mower repair and they said $75 and hour and probably and hour or two
