I’ve read there are global loaders... I think, I am not sure, adapters to go from one series to the next, even ones to go from the 260 to a skid plate buckets quick attach may be smart seeing how many attachments skids have now days. I’d like to know what would be best in today’s times. Everything for the 260 loader is about $600 on up to $2000. You can buy a $250 adapter and weld it onto the unit you find which seems like a reasonable option. My tractor has a bucket, seldom do I use or need a bucket. I need flat forks like what’s on my 5055e to either move hay or move pallets. Found one finally for $589. It would help me to know what the quick attachment on my loader is actually called so I could search for that broken pin ?.... also I will post a picture of a broken piece I can’t seem to find. The people that owned it drilled and ran a straight bold into it instead of welding or fixing the problem (hate people like this) I’m hoping I can buy this quick attach pin and weld it back on but I’m pretty doubtful and see myself having to get the ole torch out to manufacture one.

Thanks in advance the help everyone’s been to the newbie on here. Throw new questions at y’all seems like everyday.

You're missing the loop the pin and spring goes through (look at the right side) You will need to make the loop and weld it on.
Pin is P/N AW20308 key 10
Spring pin P/N 34M7049 key 11
Spring P/N W31991 key 12
Last drawing
I have the 245 loader on my 2030, the little brother to your 260. I fabbed mounts for forks and my grapple. This is an out dated system. Springs key 12 are easily damaged, I've replaced mine several times

Parts shows brackets, P/N AW22428 right and AW42429 left to weld to attachments. I made my own. First drawing

Global Carrier is a world wide system that uses a top hook on the implement and a "tab" with a horizonal hole for a retaining pin on each side ( a pair ) Drawings may help or muddy the issue :mocking: There is also a HD version of the Global system Second and third drawings

Drawings did NOT post in the order I attached them :nunu:

The hay spear picture you posted has the "set up" to match your loader. I call it JD 245 mount, only because I have a JD 245 loader

JD sold an adapter for the 600 series carriers to use 245 loader attachments. I bought it from a dealer that said they had it in stock for almost 20 years. Very heavy :nunu: but I have used it to use my 245 pallet forks on my 640 loader. Parts only shows the 245 side lock pins...…...so I have no way of finding it's original cost. It had a stamped metal tag wired to it the salesman removed. I don't know it that was a P/N or internal dealer control number :dunno:

Thanks for the diagram I looked everywhere for it. I ordered those forks this morning... I’m gonna try and make a pin out of a rail road spike... it’s pretty strong metal so hopefully lasts. Believe I can’t configure it. Just need to get my torch bottles filled so I can make a loop. If my forks come in before I can get to it I’ll use a u bolt temporary...not drill a bold hole in those new expensive forks. 748 is what it ended up costing me ?... 32in spear width so I should be able to use it for pallets like I do with the 5055s
