A good friend of mine who is a landscaper kinda permanently loaned me this machine. Well it needed a little love. And I have been putting it off for a long while. Well the last thing I had to do was a water pump. Did that this am along with a new battery. Just got done my first mow and wow is it nice!! I think I cut my time in half or better. So now he has a backup and I can mow quicker and keep the hours off the 4310.

Now I gotta call him and hear the I told ya so's!! I really shoulda done this sooner.

Nice rig, You could not convince me to go any other way to mow my lawn. My z920a has cut my mow time by 30%.

Good idea when it is time to up-grade. Though, this is a commercial machine and should last you quite a while. You may have to make up an excuse to up-grade to green.

Don't understand the "idiot" part of the title, sure seems to me that you're a smart fellow. Now all that said, anyone with older equipment has the psychotic relationship with it. One the one hand there is the pride of keeping it going and knowing it's paid for. On the other hand, if it broke bad it would be an opportunity to get something new. So if you think like this, all that means is you're on the right tractor site :good2:.

Thanks Pete. And yes I have many a love hate relationship with my machines. I'm an idiot because I've had this mower for a year and not fixed it. Putting it off because I like the seat time on my 4310. Also the tractor has a cupholder;-).

Your onto my plan. Show the old lady how nice and fast the zero turn cuts. Then mysteriously it gos down. Bam, I got another Deere in the yard!
