iMatch QH on backorder until June

This is just a FYI post.

My dealer told me today that his computer is showing that the iMatch QH won't be shippped until sometime in June. On the 22nd I think.
He says the part number has changed, so I am thinking this is the redesigned unit with an adjustable top hook.

Great info. Thanks for posting it.:good2:
I have an IMatch for each tractor and would prefer that the top hook remain fixed, When you standardize everything to fit then any of the tractors can hitch up from the seat.

I agree, but it looks like there will not be anymore fixed top hooks. I will however modify my attachments so that I don't have to move the hook. Judging by the picture I saw of the new hitch, it appears bolts are used to position the top hook at the desired height. Seems to me they would use pins so quick adjustments could be made. Another case of "what were they thinking?"..

Yes, I was thinking of getting an iMatch too. My dealer, here in Yakima Washington, told me the same thing, "June". It appears the advertising department isn't on the same schedule as the factory. They are running the zero down and discounts for two or more impliments again. I was ready to spend the $400. Now, after thinking about it, I can live without the iMatch. Thanks JD for saving me the money :(

This kind of thing makes me glad I but the bullet for the Imatch when I got my 2305. I have all my implements set to the old style hitch and it works great. My woods bushhog and kind cutter blade work fine with it as well.

I stopped by my dealer today to see if my MMM came in for my 1026R and it has! Planning on taking delivery Saturday:good2:

Since my iMatch won't be here until June, he said that one of the other dealerships is getting in 5 Howse QH's and wanted to know if I wanted one of those or wait until June for the one I have ordered to come in. I looked the Howse QH up on the web and it looks very similar to the JD, but I don't think I am going to take it, especially not for the same price as Deere charges for the iMatch.

Anyone know anything about the Howse hitch?

I have the LandPride QH, and it's a well made piece of equipment. As long as you don't mind tan paint, the LP QH is just as viable as the back-ordered Deere iMatch.
