All,
I'm about to treat myself to a Baumalight 1p24 stump grinder, to be used with my iMatch hitch.
The manual says: "Stump grinder is setup for a CAT1 quick hitch"

and contains this image:

So with the lower link pins as shown, what kind of bushing do I need?
So far I've used this type of bushing (left side), but that's for open-ended pins, and those look like they're not.
So do I just need three bushings meant for the top link (upper middle)?

Thanks!

For the lowers, you will need captive bushings like the center picture. You can get bushing sleeves fairly cheap at tractor supply. On the lower pins, A cat 1 - cat2 lift arm bushing, then a cat 2-cat 3 lift arm bushing on top of the first one will get you up to the 1.5" diameter. The only complaint is that they are usually about an inch or so shorter than the pocket width of the implement so they tend to slide around but still work.

On The top link, A cat 1 to Cat 2 top link bushing should do the trick but Sometimes they need a Cat 0 to Cat 1 bushing to stack up correctly too.

If you have QH extra bushings with the end shoulders, you could cut the wide end off to make it fit but those are more expensive than buying the sleeves at tractor supply.

yes, it gets kinda complicated. Those All-in-one-packs definitively have something.
Now it looks like I need to go from Cat 1 via Cat 2 to Cat 3, which is what the iMatch is built for.
To make matters worse, the step-up sizes are different for the lift links and the top link...
And it looks like Tractor Supply wants somewhere between $5-8 for a single bushing.

On the upside, it seems that Cat2/3 bushings are 2.5" long, that could be enough.

This is basically what you need, sorry we are out of them now.

Exactly, but how can you be so cruel? ;-)

I think the likely best option is to get a set of the ones with "shoulders" (they're only $18 or so) and cut off the shoulders. That should be long enough.
