As many of you already know, John Deere has been working the past few years to rename and reintroduce new lines of tractors to both meet government requirements and also position themselves to be competitive in a variety of industries. After introducing the 2R series of Compact Utility Tractors last year, 2014 marks the debut of the brand new line of 3000 Series aka 3 Family of tractors - the John Deere 3R Series

We just posted a new article on our blog highlighting the new line of tractors and providing some info about what's new and what models they replace. We've noticed more discussion lately both on here and in our stores with people asking about these new tractors, so we thought we'd offer our John Deere Dealer knowledge to help answer any questions you guys might have!

The brand new John Deere 3R Series Compact Utility Tractor models include the 3033R, 3039R and 3046R. These new John Deere 3000 Series tractors feature the new Tier 4 engines that were redesigned to comply with new emissions regulations while still providing the ultimate in power. The new John Deere 3033R features a 33HP engine and replaces the John Deere 3320 tractor. The new John Deere 3039R features a 39HP engine and replaces the John Deere 3520. The new John Deere 3046R features a 46HP engine and replaces the John Deere 3720. All of the new John Deere 3R Series tractors come standard with four wheel drive for the ultimate mix of power and control in any work environment.

One of the most popular features of the new John Deere 3R Series of Compact Utility Tractors is the integrated hydrostatic transmission controls on a single panel. Tractor operators can easily select LoadMatch™ to automatically adjust engine speed based on the size of the load, MotionMatch™ to adjust the responsiveness of the hydrostatic transmission, and SpeedMatch™ to enable automotive-style cruise control. These amazing features provide 3R Series owners with a simple set of instruments to control and use the tractor efficiently. An optional PowrReverser™ transmission available on the 3033R and 3039R allows the operator to change directions using a hand lever and without clutching.
