I wasn't sure where to post this, but this seem the appropriate place. I sent "Keeping It Green" an email inviting them to check this site out. They are a John Deere dealer located in Dutzow, Missouri (with a sister store in Union, Missouri). They run an online parts site that usually has a slightly lower price than most local dealers. Here is their website: http://www.keepingitgreen.com/ The dealership is Schweissguth Brothers (there a few brothers) and I talked to Mike Schweissguth who told me he will check this site out. They are sponsors on other sites like WFM. Here is their dealership link: http://www.schweissguth.com/

Brian,

There are two other companies who sell JD parts over the web at discount prices as well. I have purchased from one of them and have had excellent service and they have been helpful to call as well. I just bring them up because of what T-Mo has had to say about this other company. Again I am not pushing for them but maybe they would want to be here since this is pretty much an all John Deere user site.

they are:

Saved money over my local dealer big time!

I have a John Deere 5105 tractor that I use nearly every day. I needed an alternator and found one online. My local dealer wanted nearly $500 for it (new) and offered a reman one for a little less. I found this part RE72915 online for $386.30. They also had a 7% coupon I used (COLLECTOR) and I was able to get it shipped to me for $11.00. No sales tax too.

I don't know if all of their prices are this good but I'll def check them out from on. http://www.greenfarmparts.com
