Where are you seeing this error? Is it on GTT or Fit Rite's website?

Looks like Brians website is down now, maybe a server problem at his host.

I'll send him a note...

Jim, what cell carrier are you using?
I cannot reach it on ATT, but it works fine through VZW and a regular connection we have here in the office.

(Brian hands the keyboard to IT)....

If you have doubts about the status of a website, just go to downforeveryoneorjustme.com - that is a real website. Type in the page you're trying to access and if it's just you, try clearing your cache. Browsers keep copies of webpages so they will pull up more quickly. And that may be why our website shows as down.

But it isn't.

403 Forbidden errors:

If encountered during normal browsing these are usually the result of a block of IPs from an ISP being black listed by a hosting, traffic, or other service.

Hosting providers often blacklist IP blocks from which malicious traffic is steady or overwhelming.

As Fit Rite is available from most providers (I can get there also on a little rural provider) it seems that a block from AT&T is currently blacklisted. Providers usually work quickly with the listing services to remove the source of the offender and restore their blocks ( and their good name and the service to people unfortunate enough to be caught up in the block)

Le sigh....

fitrite.jpg

Screenshot from my little rinky dink basic cellphone with a whopping 300mb of data per month. Provider in the upper left hand corner, AT&T is our provider. Website pulls up without any problem.

I checked the domain's error list and there haven't been any recent 403 error messages.

Nope. Still forbidden.

Brian, I'm not trying to get a hold of you or anything. I just know as a fellow small business owner that outages are missed opportunities. Trying to help you out. :)
