On the dual SCV on my JD 4510, there is what appears to be a port of some sort with a cap or "fitting" on it. The fitting is part # AM126833. It is part 31 in the attached drawing. I searched my operators manual and service manual, and can't find any mention of why this hole exists. Does anyone know what this port/hole is for?

I have a power beyond kit installed, and it connects to the dual SCV at a different hole. Could this be a 2nd - hidden - power beyond port?

You would not need two PB ports, so I doubt that's what it is. It could just bee an access hole for machining that's later capped off.

I have a PB kit on the back of the tractor and plan to install a electric/hydraulic valve for a grapple, so I'd love to have a 2nd PB port coming off the the main SCV. If that hole is one, it will save me untold additional plumbing.

All valves need to be added in series, so unless that port would block the flow to the other PB port you'd be adding the new valve in parallel I'd assume.

Some valves have multiple port locations for ease of mounting/routing hoses.

Just because it's got 2, doesn't mean you can use both.
