I was working with my JD 1023e when all of a sudden it died, no dash light, rpm guage is stuck at 12 o'clock, head light still come on, rear flashers will not come on, anybody in the forum have an idea about what might be wrong?

Please help it's stuck in the woods!!

I agree with Gizmo Even if the voltage seems high when you test it you need to draw it down. These are touchy with the voltage they do not like low voltage. If you have a jump pack try it if it starts leave the jump pack on when you drive it out of woods. Good Luck

I would check the fuses and circuit breakers and the key wire connecting points. but first I agree, low batteries in these new computer controlled motors can cause very strange things to happen.

A quick way to load test it on the spot. First read the voltage with key off, if it's low than you have a drained and or faulty battery. If the voltage is normal, keep leads from voltmeter on battery and try to start rig. If you see the voltage drop considerably than its a battery and or charging issue.
