jd 6415 steering problem

I own a 2005 6415, starting two years ago,if the tractor sets for more than one hour,when started the power steering does not work,with GENTLE persuasion to the steering wheel it returns quickly and will continue to work properly.Twice now this year, with the initial start, it will squeal,only for about 5seconds and just loud enough to hear.
Hyd. fluid level is at proper level and hyd. filter was changed in '22. Under than 400hrs.use per year.
At that time,Issue was brought to the attention of my local jd dealer service manager,he looked for an bulletins about such,no results, he thought perhaps an electrical problem.
Any ideas ?
Thank You

My W.A.G. is the load sensing system for the power steering. Maybe a stuck load sense disc.
where would the load sensing system be found
In my opinion, I suspect an air leak on the suction side of the pump. That would allow the hydraulic oil to leak off and pump would lose prime briefly. Check the rubber hose with hose clamps on the pump. Hose clamps could be loose and need tightening or hose could be dry rotted and cracked causing air leak. Also possible oring between hose nipple and pump could be bad. Also could be bad gasket under pump mounting adapter.

sir;
thank you for such a simple solution to a two year qestion/problem. I waited a few days to see if that was the answer,I checked all hose's,tightened all hose clamps and any other connections to the pump, lo and behold that did it !! I have lost faith in my local JD service manager and his assistant,not just because of this situation but also others.I have found the internet to be a more reliable and faster way to answer my questions.
Once again thank you.

Glad it turned out to be a simple solution. One thing I have learned in over 40 years of working on green machines is to be sure and check the simple stuff first. I am surprised your dealer suggested an electrical problem. Absolutely no electrical connection to hydraulic operation on the 6415.

The hose to the pump on my JD 6415 was leaking (bottom of the hose) the oil followed other hoses and the oil dripped off the MFWD "drop" box. Hard to find leak.
Made a thread when I did the repair.

If you look back a bit on this conversation,jd110 offered up what was the solution to my problem. I thank you for your time to answer my question.

I realize that. I just adding I had trouble with that same hose.
