I have a small collection from a friend's estate, and I would like to make sure anything valuable doesn't get disposed. If you see something you're interested in, let me know.
If you're in the Denver area, and want it all, let me know.

If you look at it and say "keep a certain few items, and ditch the rest at Sister Carmen's" I can accept that.

The market for those "collectibles" changes often. Recently, its been fairly soft. The best way to see if there is anything of particular value is to look up each item on Ebay, etc. or just Google search them. There are some brands which are much more collectible than others. Hot Wheels has some models which are worth thousands of dollars each (and even 5 and 6 figures) , Most are not. I would suggest looking up each item by the information on the packaging to make sure you are not giving away something valuable. It's easy to search these now on the internet.

The brand, size and "model" of the items is the best way to search these. You will find most have minimal value but the value is often impacted by how high a volume was produced and what the subject matter is........In the process, you will learn something about the industry as well.............

That's a nice collection of John Deere stuff you have there.

I have the John Deere Chad Little #97 NASCAR 1:43 scale and a few other items.
I expect they're not worth much to non-NASCAR fan/collectors.

I'm not much into Nascar, Hot Wheels, or Matchbox stuff, but I'm big into farm toys. There are some nice ERTL farm toys there on the right side of the pictures. To me all of it looks like good stuff, definitely don't "dispose" of any of it. I may be interested in some of the farm toys depending on the price.

We just went through something similar with a friend there was approximately 5000 matchbox hot wheel. Cars mint in package when all was said and done. We took them to the shelter and gave them away told the kids to have fun

The people that want them are gonna lowball ya, trying offer you pennies on the dollar. We decided it wasn’t worth the aggravation. Let somebody enjoy them.

Back in December a fellow farm toy collector/customizer sent me a big box of old 1/64 scale toys and parts tractors. He considered all of it to be junk and was just going to throw the stuff away. I was excited when I got the box because to me there's a lot of good stuff. Something that may not be worth anything to one person may be worth a lot to another person.
