So my new 3039r arrived at dealer yesterday. Wont get it till Tuesday after dealer does their stuff to it and I sign the paperwork. Just ordered my hooks from Kens BOH. Picked up 6.5' disc and 6' finish mower from TSC. Still looking for 6-8 foot cultipacker and 5-6 foot scarifier. Can't wait to get busy!!! I'd like to thank everyone on here for info and advice. W/o it I would have probably bought too small a tractor.

Congrats!
I had ordered it with the kit for it to be grapple ready. I didn't see the hard lines on the FEL when I went and saw it today. I'm hoping the dealer then installs it

Ken has the correct hydraulic connectors to pair with the JD connectors when you get a grapple. If you get one of the JD/Frontier grapples they will hopefully come with the correct connectors.

Edit: after re-reading your initial post, if you got the heavier duty bucket (double wall on top) it should not be used with bolt-on hooks. Ken advised me to get the weld-on hooks, which work perfectly for me. I think Ken has something on his web site about this.

Congratulations on the new 3039R. They are a great tractor.
Does anyone know what the cigarette outlet in cab is rated for amperage wise? I'd like to use that when I'm fueling tractor up to run my 55gal pump.

My owners manual is out in the garage. Fixin' to do the front axle fluid change.

I'd look up the fuse for it.

Correct, I have the HD bucket and have read about this issue too. There is a work around, Ken had a link on his website if I remember right. I have bolt on hooks, but have not installed them yet. The work around does require some light fabrication work.

OP we need pictures when you get them :) Pretty sure the power outlet is a 15amp fuse, but not 100% sure. I am away from my manual too.

Was also looking at placing tool box on brush/radiator guard. It appears that it tips down for some sort of access? Maybe room for a small tool

Nice!
I flipped left rear to right and so on. Got 2 inches more width for stability.
Got a seat cover to fit the air ride deluxe seat. JD p/n LP95233. Looks good in JD yellow instead of that velour brown seat.

How did this fit with the arm rests? Looking to put one on my 4720 cabbed tractor. I have the same seat you do. Any pics? Thanks.

Allen.

Will send pics when I get home. Am at work. Just slides in between armrest and the seat.

Alright. Here is a pic of the seat. Looks a bit loose. I think if I unscrew seat cushion and back off, I can get a tighter fit tho.

I wonder if the 1025R seat cover would be a better fit. It is cutout for the arm rests.

I thought a 1025 seat would be smaller. I think if I take the seat and back cushion off of the seat framework, I can get a much better fit. I may have to poke holes in it for the screws to re-bolt cushion to frame. When I have time. I'm just happy to have it covered in something other than the brown material. For 30$ it was worth it.

Nope. Not even close. I have one sitting in my pile of "won't fit" parts. The seat back on the 1025 is shorter than the 3R fabric seat. It will go on the seat, but is stretched so tight between the top and the front of the seat cushion that as soon as anyone sits in it, it pops right off the bottom.
