This may sound like a really dumb question. I have been around tractors for most of my life but this is my first 2 cylinder.I do have the John deere service manual but it is woefully lacking in all of the little details. Is #1 cylinder located on the pulley side or on the flywheel side

john deere model r

Thank you very much for the info. Am I correct in assuming that the injector pump for #1 cylinder is also on the flywheel side. This is the first time I have done injection pumps so any and all pertinent info is appreciated. The john deere manual that I have is so incredibly lacking in the little steps that it,s driving me nuts.
Thank you once again for your help

Please post some photos of the injectors, I have never had mine out!

Looking for umbrella seat fixings for R that look correct.
