I'm looking for a rear wheel for my 165 hydro. The left wheel is frozen in place. I think the key might be distorted. I've tried everything, wheel pullers, a rigged up puller using a chain and a bottle jack, heating it red hot with a torch, and this wheel is there to stay. If I can find a replacement, I'll cut it off. Until then, I put a tube in the tire, while still attached to the tractor. What a HUGE PITA !

Thanks,
Mike.

I tried the sledge hammer, along with all of the other methods I could come up. I finally had the wheel so bent out of shape, that it would have to be replaced anyway.

Today, here in SE WI., it's too cold and windy to work on it, but after I get back from Trainfest (a model railroad show in Milwaukee), I'll spend Saturday afternoon putting it all back together. I'll post some pics in the regular forum.
