Saw a #25 pull type combine on the net for $350. Was wondering if it would be worth it, and what Model JD two cylinder letter A or B or would I need the 2010? Unless a A-C WC or Farmall H(electronic Ignition) would do the job.

Dad had a #25 for a few years but didn't consider he owned a REAL combine till coaxed the local Deere dealer salesman to sell him his own #30. #30 had the cross feed auger & feeder chain to feed the cylinder from the cutterbar. The canvases on the #25 were it's weak spot.

For show only a 2-cylinder tractor would work. If you want to actually combine oats, wheat, etc. The WC Allis or FARMALL H would be my pick. Neighbor ran his #25 & #30 over 30-40 acres of oats every year with WD-45, D-17 or D-19 pulling it. Dad used Super M-TA or 450 FARMALL on similar 30-40 acres. Nobody used a 2 cylinder on PTO work unless it was the only thing they had available.
