John Deere 3050 low pressure front pump

232 Views 5 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  Tx Jim
Hi everyone!
Please help. John Deere 3050.
After connecting a pressure gauge to the front pump at idle, the pressure increases to 40-50bar only. I will add that the rockshaft is locked in the upper position and it is impossible to lower it (in the middle of the roskcdk feel resistance when moving the lever)
What can be the problem? Thank you very much!

Have you turned rate of drop valve(item 30) under seat 1/2-1 turn CCW? Does 3 pt control handle move forward in quadrant? It's possible cam follower(shaded outlined part) on 3 pt linkage inside of rockshaft housing has slipped out of control linkage or spring has broken become disconnected. How many hrs of use since hyd filter was changed & suction screen checked/cleaned?

Thanks a lot Tx Jim for your reply!!!
yes i turned the screws to the left but it didn't help.
The tractor is a new purchase, it has not worked in the field yet - I replaced the filters shortly after purchase.
The 3 pt control handle is move forward in quadrant.
In the next one I check the front pump and this is what it looks like: o_O

I suggest to acquire a bore scope & look inside hyd oil filler hole located in rockshaft housing for spring & cam follower(shaded part) in my 2nd photo.
Tx Jim, please help. the front pump gave 120bar at max speed. I repaired it and it didn't help. What could be the cause? in the tank above the front pump there is high pressure until there are leaks as you can see in the pictures. can you help? View attachment 893500

Attachment you posted was no help to my understanding your tractors hyd problem. Closed center hyd's such as your tractor has are difficult to diagnose in person & much more difficult looking at a computer screen. What type of hyd diagnosis have you performed? Have you checked GPM of trans pump with hyd hi-lo in both speeds & pto in both on & off positions?
