Hi

Hoping someone can help me with a small issue i have.

Recently purchased a JD 3720 for my paddock maintenance business. I have purchased a range of attachments including a post knocker. Its a Oxdale and only requires one hydraulic line. All works the way it should but when raising the weight, it goes up too fast, there fore the weight bounces on the rope and occasionally snaps. My question is, how do i slow the rate of hydraulic pressure so it goes up nice and slowly instead of it bouncing.

Thanks in advance.

Dom,
You can add a restrictor inline with the one hose to slow it down, but then it might not lower as fast reducing it effectiveness. The pounders I've seen from Shaver use a separate unrestricted dump line to exhaust fluid back to the tank.
