Well, a few days ago i got the okay to go get my neighbors John Deere 413 brush hog and fix it up so i can either sell it or the one i got and buy this one. It needs some work though. There is a dent in the back from my neighbor backing into a stump, the shaer pin is gone (easy fix) needs to get a new paint job (an extra) needs new decals (after paint) and i need to completely disassemble and reassemble it. I plan to sharpen the mower blades while its all apart but i wont start it until i finish up my new work space in our new shop. I still need to smooth out the gravel and run over it with the plate compactor. Then i can start tearing into it. i cant wait to get started!

I had to replace those support bars that go from the top of the hitch down to the deck on my MX6. I think they were less than $20 each so before you try to pound them out, check the price. That might get everything lined up OK with minimal effort.

No im talking about the dent in the deck itself. shown in the first picture.
With some heat and patience, i think you could make that like new again. Post pics as you go.
