Just replaced the seat and suspension on my 425 a few months back. Used x series parts. The whole setup was right at $300 and worth every penny.
AM142094 seat
AM134254 suspension assy
M144705 spring locking pin
M119978 pin fastener
24M7028 washer
AM131968 seat switch (turns out the one from my 425 looks and works identical to this one so I have got a spare)
I took off the rear fender so I could take of the old slide assembly. The old slide has the bolts built into them so I had to pickup some new bolts to attach the new suspension. The holes in the rear fender lined up perfectly with the new suspension.
Turns out that the wiring harness was not quite long enough to route it like what this suspension is designed for. I ended up making a couple of extensions out of some 14 awg wire I had and disconnect pairs.
All I can say is I wish I would have done this sooner. It is a night and day difference between this setup and the original one.
