The tractor sat for several years and would not start. The stale fuel had caused the pump plunger assembly to stick and not pump fuel. I got those freed up and the tractor now starts and runs at full speed. No throttle response won't shut down with the key. Yes the fuel solenoid is working. Does anyone know how to adjust the 3 rack and pinion controls in the pump? Any other input?

Most of the older diesels relied on fuel as lubrication for the HP pump, ULSD is garbage fuel compared to the 90’s fuel. A cheap thing to try is add a quart of 2 cycle oil to the fuel to see if you can get the internals lubed up good. I have used this trick many times with success.
