It’s smaller than I really would want. But it sure would look good pulling my son’s wagon.

That enough should be enough treason for the wife to let me go after it. (Ya right)

This will be auctioned off close to be. Might go have a look. What all do you think would be a fair price. It has the electrical and hydraulic systems.

I'd like to know what it sells for. I think it would be just the right size for towing your son's trailer. If you bid on it, I wish you luck.:thumbup1gif:

I ran across this model "H" a few days ago on CL. It's located in/near Weimar, TX. I was thinking of driving there to look it over, but it was just wishful thinking.

Below is one owned by my local JD dealer, but he won't sell it. It's collecting dust.

I once saw three H's sell at a farm auction for $150, two were running, one with hydraulics.

Of course, that was around 1965, if I'd only known! :banghead:

The H was the first JD tractor I ever saw hand started,,,
my grandmothers third husband (so, not my grandfather:dunno: ) rolled the flywheel over a couple times,,
the tractor started right up,,
That man was mighty proud of how that 20 year old tractor started so easily,,, :good2:

Dad bought one a couple years ago at my Uncle's brothers estate auction.
It's in decent shape, no elec or hydro though.
I think he paid ~1800

Pretty fair price. No I didn’t get it. I prefer the ones that need fixed up. This one has a lot of the fun already used up.

Might have to beg and plead with the Boss to let me go after this one.

Just how I like them. All there but need work. I love tinkering.

I really should have went after this.

It it’s 2.5 hours away and I didn’t have a trailer big enough to haul it home on. Decent price though. Even with the 15% buyers fee. No idea if it runs. Didn’t. Get a chance to look at it. And the auction company didn’t know. Would have been fun to mess with.

Wife told me at the last min to bid but I knew what that really meant.

Well considering that she was griping about he 200 bucks I just spent on parts to rebuild the touch control on the kids cub I though I better not.

But in reality I should have. I’m kicking myself.
