I have an old John Deere 407 3 point rotary cutter I use to mow my orchard. I have tree prunings on the ground now. I don't have the operating manual or any tech specs on the mower. Does anyone have any suggestions on how big diameter tree cuttings the mower can handle? Can it handle up to 1inch, 1.5 inch, or up to 2 inch branch cuttings?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I think you'll be fine if branches are only 2'' in diameter. On my JD 709 advertised them to cut up to 4'' but I've never tried to cut any trees that large.
