Hi Guys,
I have a L108 riding mower. i backed it out to get my 318 out to mow. After mowing i got on the L108 and nothing, not even a click.
i cleaned the battery terminals, checked the fuse, check the connector under the seat to be sure it tight. Battery is fully charged. i admit i
don't much about these.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks,
Mark

Obvious stuff first, in neutral, PTO off, foot on the brake, etc?

If you have a volt meter, check the battery while trying to start and see what the voltage is. If you don't have a volt meter, pull the battery out and have it load tested at an auto parts store.

Great start, let us know if this turns up anything.

Hi Guys,
i bought a new key switch, no difference. I checked the battery and it is at 12.8 amps, just sitting. I'll see what it does when i try to start it.
looking at the electrical schematic, looks like next target would be the brake switch? i'll let you what happens with battery.

Thanks for the advice,
Mark

Hi Guys,
Well I went home at lunch and checked the battery again, made sure all connections were good, brake switch, seat switch and the plunger button that has to go in when you manually push the lever to engage the blades. Then, I pulled the fuse out and i was getting on/off/on/off when i have the fluke meter on continuity test, seemed weird, so i popped and a new fuse and that puppy fired right up.
i keep my fingers crossed that was the problem, if not i"ll be back.

Thanks Again for the help, this is a great board with great guys!
Mark
