I took the pulley off of my 2001 Husqvarna (Kawasaki motor). I don't recall it being a reverse thread and I did not need a puller. It came off very easily.
LA11O 19.5 HP BRIGGS engine pulley and bolt removal
I'am removing motor from frame ,engine model #31p677 type 0130e1 code060728ze .Iam not sure if i have to remove bottom pulley before pulling motor or will it fit through frame ,if not the bolt holding pulley to crank is it left hand threaded or regular thread.Also once i get bolt off pulley do i need puller to remove pulley or can i tap gently. I ordered repair manual coming any day just want to get started. Thanks alot
