Hello all,
This is my first post here.
I've got a 2018 1025r. I'm getting ready to purchase a Land Pride RTR0550 reverse tiller. I've searched the site and I've only seen it mentioned a time or two.
Any input would be greatly appreciated on the tiller. My greatest concern is that it only weighs 298 pounds according to the website, but since it is a reverse tiller, do you all think that will be an issue? Oh and it's orange, bleh.
Thanks,
Kent

I have been looking at getting a similar tiller myself since I need to upgrade to something larger then my JD 450 with the larger tractor I am getting, be interested in what feedback you get.

I own the 0550 and have good success behind my JD650. Bought it used and it had some broke tines so it was a deal. The tines are available for about 8.50 each. The reverse tine weight really digs in. My green machine is at the lower hp end and has to work hard. I have a 1 acre garden first time to till, and it prepared the soil well. It is critical you learn to adjust the slip clutch to keep from breaking tines. All in all a very good tool. The main drive is chain and self tensioning however as you know oil and freeze keep your implements alive.
