Need some advice, here. I've got about a 50'x50' area that needs work. It's heavy clay (It's August, think parking lot) with a lot of rocks from little ones to 2 1/2 to 3" in size. I've got access to a box blade and a landscape rake. What would work best to level and clean it up. The rake, box blade or both? All suggestions are welcome including don't do anything at all.

Thanks,
Dave

Both.

The rake is more for finishing and removing the rocks.

The bb would be good for loosening the soil and the heavy leveling aspects.

adjustable grader with rippers is also a good choice.

If have to choose from your landscape rake and box scraper, as you said your land is more rocks, box scraper maybe will better.

Without seeing the land or project I would go with the rake. I think a box blade would/may make more work for you.
Remove every other tine from the rake, rough work the land, put the tines back in and finish the job.
