Well I picked up this gem for $60. A cheap HF metal bender loosely copied from a Hosfeld (which is a whole bunch better) and it had 3 additional dies the guy fabbed up as he had a welding shop. I had to make a small part out of a 5/8ths bolt as it was missing the piece that holds up the stop block.

I don't have the floor space to spare so I am making a mount that will fit into all 3 tractor receiver hitches and the truck too for that matter. It will be then portable and the vehicles are pretty sturdy and won't give. Made this out of some scrap I got for next to nothing.

What you are seeing is the support going into the receiver and the plate that will go on it. Will most likely tack weld the bolts too so the bender can just be sat on it and hit with the impact wrench:

I know nothing about the world of bending but do a ton of work with rebar projects, let's hear about bending:

Tire Wheel Automotive tire Motor vehicle Tread

I have one of those, it works good for bending band iron and round stock. If you like working with rebar you have to go on youtube and search Gavin Clark. He's a hobby fabricator from Australia I think and makes ALL kinds of cool things with rebar.

I made a bracket and hooks for the welder the other day. Getting the hang of it:

Also bent the legs for the yard art too:

Motor vehicle Bicycle accessory Automotive tire Bicycle trailer Bag
Automotive lighting Motor vehicle Hood Automotive tire Grille

Loved the snowflake idea!

Snow flakes that size eat up a LOT of material.

One tip is to make angles easier, get a big nut for the center like this:

Good idea. These 4 took 90ft of rebar. Tall ones are 3ft and others are 2 ft. I cut off a 1inch piece of 4x4 1/8 square tubing and drilled 8 holes for my center/template to use. The nut would have been easier.

HF sells a scroll work attachmentfor that bender that works good also. You can make that fancy S shape piece for a shelf bracket if you know what I mean.

Just looked at HF web site and couldn't find it. The instructions I got with the bender, (very old) had scroll work in it but no info.

Sure enough, it is no longer there! Here is a link for one

That doesn't seem like a lot for over eighty bucks. That small handle and comments says it won't ben round stock either.

FWIW, I have the KAKA table top bandsaw and it works great. I am making some firewood racks for a customer and cut 46 cuts yesterday in 5/8ths rebar and flat stock that is 2 3/16ths x 1/8".
Time to cut the bar stock is 10 seconds. The material stop is a HUGE time saver and helps make all the pieces exactly the same length.
